Reception flower FAQ
How tall should wedding centrepieces be?
Keep low centrepieces under about 12 inches so guests can talk across the table. Tall pieces should lift the flowers well above seated eye level — roughly 24 inches or more — and suit rooms with high ceilings. Avoid the in-between height that blocks faces.
Do I need flowers on every table?
Not necessarily. Mixing floral centrepieces with candles, greenery or bud vases on some tables keeps the room cohesive while lowering the cost.
Should I avoid scented flowers on dinner tables?
Strongly scented flowers like lilies and some hyacinths can overpower food and bother guests with allergies. We'll suggest lightly scented blooms for dining tables.
Can my ceremony flowers be used at the reception?
Yes. Aisle arrangements can become centrepieces and arch or altar florals can frame your head table. Plan it ahead and ask someone to move them during cocktail hour.
