Fresh-cut florist greenery gives bouquets, centrepieces, garlands and wedding work their shape, fullness and texture. This listing includes six popular greens:
- Leatherleaf fern, by far the most popular cut foliage for use in arrangements, with year-round availability and good display life.
- Plumosa fern, with soft, lacy fronds.
- Italian ruscus, with glossy, pointed leaves and a vase life of 14 days or more.
- Salal (lemon leaf), with broad, glossy leaves that build a lush base.
- Tree fern, with fine, wispy texture for a fluffy look.
- Ming fern, with puffy clusters of bright green needles.
