Bells of Ireland
Bells of Ireland (Moluccella laevis) has tall stems lined from top to bottom with bright green, bell-shaped cups. What is often mistaken for a green flower is actually the calyx or cup-shaped leaves around the base of the flowers. The tall stems add height and a fresh green accent to arrangements, centrepieces, wedding work, and St. Patrick’s Day and spring designs. Cut flowers will last 7 to 10 days in a vase. The stems have small thorns, so wear gloves when handling them.
Approximate stem count: 10 stems per bunch
Flowers are seasonal and availability varies, so some substitutions may be needed, especially for same-day orders. Our florists will always match the look and feel of the arrangement you chose. For the closest match, we recommend ordering in advance so we can bring in the exact flowers. Either way, it will be beautiful!
